Hello, and welcome to your summer 2012 Circus Orange newsletter.  The sun is blazing and the shows are getting hotter and more explosive than ever, and we wanted to tell you about some of it!

CANADA DAY MEANS FIREWORKS! FIREWORKS!! FIREWORKS!!! - July 1st, 2012
Summertime is our busiest time here at Circus Orange headquarters. With Canada Day coming up on Sunday, the shop and the office are a flurry of fireworks preparation!

This year for July 1st we've been asked to provide the annual fireworks display for the City of Brampton at the Powerade Centre, the Kennedy Road Tabernacle show at the Brampton Christian School, fireworks for the town of Petawawa, at the Canadian Forces Base, and lastly in Gibbons, Alberta.

There will be plenty of fun to be had at each event, so if you're in the area, make sure to come on by, wish Canada a happy 145th birthday, and check out the show!

BOONSTOCK MUSIC & ARTS FESTIVAL - June 29th - July 1st, 2012
Circus Orange has been invited this year to wow the crowds at Boonstock Music & Arts Festival just outside of Gibbons, AB. We will be providing high elevation pyrotechnics on the Friday and Saturday nights, as well as lending our SPFX expertise to the A Day to Remember performance on Sunday night.

It will be an amazing weekend for sure. Hopefully we will see some of you there!

GMC & THE CALGARY STAMPEDE - July 6th to 15th, 2012
The Calgary Stampede is coming up and we couldn't be more excited to be a part of it! This year wehave created an awesome acrobalance show for GM. We will be performing 7 shows a day for a whopping 10 days at Canada's premiere Rodeo. Not only do our performers make an impression, but wait until you see the crazy hydraulic lift stage with integrated smoke thruster effects that we're putting them on.

If you are at the Calgary Stampede be sure to swing by the GM Booth to catch this show!

We also have quite a few private shows, closed to the public, coming up in the next few weeks that we're very excited about. If you happen to be among the attendees at any of these events, come on by and say hello!

GANANOQUE, ON - SUMMER SOLSTICE PRIDE IN THE 1000 ISLANDS FESTIVAL - June 23rd, 2012
The Circus Orange crew just got back from a show in Gananoque, Ontario for their Summer Solstice Pride in the 1000 Islands Festival. Tom and Rebecca headed up with some of our top performers to put on a fire and trampoline act in conjunction with musical artist Jarvis Church, with, you guessed it, lots of pyro.

We had an absolute blast working with the people of this beautiful town in the Thousand Islands.
